Sony has stated that the Alpha Centre web site, which can be found at www.sony.com.au/dslr, will allow camera photographers a forum to offer advice, discuss their craft, compare DSLR cameras, communicate with like minded camera and photography enthusiasts, and obtain feedback on the best of heir personal photography.

Sony also said that the Alpha Centre will foster a community where photographers can share their knowledge, all while enabling imaging enthusiasts to  improve their photography skills and learn more about digital SLR technology. The site will include live forums as well as tips and techniques from professionals.”

Participation and interactivity is encouraged with photo forums and gallery submissions. Also, compare and find a selection and range of images taken by Alpha DSLR users that will be available for downloading as your PC's wallpaper or sending to a friend.

Last, but not least, the Alpha Centre will offer advise and information on choosing the right camera body and a Lens Filter section has been created to enable users to select the right lens for their camera and situation, depending on their requirements.
