Unfortunately we have no details or information on this new digital SLR camera yet, but it is assumed that the model will be updated and improved. We do not yet know how it will compare to other DSLR cameras on the market. Also, the exact timing of when Nikon plans to announce this model is not yet official, and there are many rumors floating around out there.

Canon has also just announced there newest model, the EOS Digital Rebel XS, and we expect Nikon will want to get their new camera out very soon to steal some of the limelight.
